Up to?!

EEP!!

The Hunger Games have completely hijacked my existence over the past 2 weeks. If you've read the books, you probably will catch the irony in that statement. I can't believe how gripping this story is...how someone can come up with something like this and it be fictional is beyond me.

Anyway.

I said in my last post or the one before that maybe that I was hoping to get a craft site going or at least an artist website up. I am still looking toward this goal but have found myself in need of certain things before I can reach that goal.

A list of the things I require for the future creation of a working website:
     1. A decent and easy to use camera (which requires $$)
     2. An organized workspace (the workspace exists...not the organized part)
     3. Someone to help me set up the site (which might take a while)
     4. The money to pay for a website to be put up and maintained (not too hard)
     5. A bunch of handmade stuff that I can sell right off (which is in the works!)
     6. A throwing wheel so that I might continue a career in ceramics (which would be a dream come true)
     7. High hopes for success (and now for a musical interlude)

As far as number 5 is concerned, here is a list of things I've got in the works:
  • My very first quilt in the sunbonnet sue pattern
  • My very first crocheted blanket
  • Several crocheted hats
  • A line of yarn bowls (this is not one of them...just an example. remember, I don't have a camera!)

  • A possible line of more quilts
  • A possible line of clothing
  • A new and more mature collection of functional ceramic art! (in the idea process...see #6 above)
So, there's a lot going on, you know...and I am obviously slow on the up-take (see first paragraph re: The Hunger Games) but there are also some other very interesting things that could be happening soon! I may be going back to school! Maybe in Art! Maybe in Theology! I am going to work at Sabine Creek Ranch this summer once again!! And God is good. He's working on me in mysterious ways.

I'll explain more later.
