Cooking Dinner

So tonight, I've been given the task of heating/cooking a pre-made dish that Mrs. P left for us to eat while she's out of town. instead of defrosting it, I kind of just started cooking it. I looked it up, nothing wrong with that! However, it did take a very long time to cook. What do you make for a side with Chicken Divan anyway?

A Revelation, A New Chapter

Well, as this semester begins, my life is changing dramatically. While I was working toward a seminary degree before Christmas, and now just one week before classes were to start on the teaching certificate I had hoped to work toward instead, I have dropped all courses and have decided to take a semester off. I am moving into an apartment with R, continuing to substitute teach, and hoping to begin a legitimate website where I can begin to sell my wares. I've gotten really into crafting lately and I would like to continue making art and so I am going to spend some time simplifying, organizing, saving, and preparing for what may lie ahead. Talk about a decision for the history books. This short paragraph sums up a several month stent of uncertainty and confusion. I still haven't quite finished tweaking my great plans to "become my own boss" and try to make a future for myself but boy it does feel good to have decided to do something that really feels right now. I actually feel pretty content with this decision!

All that to say, this little personal blog may be moving sometime in the near-ish future. I want to get up the money to buy a decent camera, a new computer/laptop, have the time to be creative, have the time to be available for those around me, and also get up the money to maybe even get myself a throwing wheel! So, there's the big news as to why I have been kind of quiet these past few weeks.
